Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Your booking is confirmation of your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.

ACCESSIBILITY

The access has steps with handrails fitted leading up to the main door. The bedrooms and communal areas are all on the ground floor with no steps/stairs.  Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Check in is between 4pm and 8pm. You should contact us if your planned arrival time is going to be delayed - if there is no contact prior to the latest check-in time of 8pm you may be considered to be a no-show.  Guests must vacate their rooms by 10am on the day of departure. You have 24-hour access to the property and your room during your stay at Loch Aluinn. Door keys are provided and you have full responsibility for them for the duration of your stay. You will incur a replacement cost if they are lost.

CANCELLATION

If you need to cancel your booking with us please make contact as soon as possible.

If you cancel more than 7 days before your arrival date you will be refunded the payment made minus the £50.00 non-refundable deposit. If you cancel less than 7 days before your arrival your full payment will be non-refundable.  If we are able to re-let the room(s) we reserve the right to waive your cancellation fee.  Non-arrivals will be classed as cancellation with less than 7 days’ notice and payment will be non-refundable.

We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance.

CANCELLATION BY US

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of your payment already made to us.

CHILDREN

Sorry, we are unable to accommodate children, all guests must be aged 18 or over.

Coronavirus Guidance and Restrictions

Coronavirus guidance and restrictions will be in place at Loch Aluinn in accordance with the current national and local Government guidance.

Electric Car Charging

Presently we do not have an EV Charge Point and due to insurance restrictions guests are not permitted to run any cabling from the property.

Guest Conduct, Property Loss or Damage

In the unlikely event that property loss, or damage is caused by carelessness or misuse (e.g. smoking, spillages, stains or food preparation) this will be charged along with any resulting lost rental night cost. The material cost(s) will be decided from a quote from an appropriate repair service or replacement provider as required to return the room to the original standard.

All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of other staying guests and the hosts at all times. We reserve the right to terminate the booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or cause a disturbance / nuisance to others, the rest of the booking and associated cost(s) will be forfeited.

Any guest lost property, if discovered and found, will be held for 1 month after which it will be disposed of or donated to charity. While we will try to unite owners with their lost property, we accept no responsibility for replacing lost items and encourage guests to have appropriate insurance in place and double check belongings before check-out. If property requires to be returned by post, we require guests to provide packaging and postal payment to help ensure items are packaged and delivered according to your wishes.

GUEST GROUP SIZE

The maximum group size we accommodate is 4 guests within 2 double bedrooms.

LEAD PERSON

To place a booking the lead person must be at least 18 years of age. The maximum number of guests staying per room is stated in the room occupancy details on the website.

Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupancy, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set out within the terms and conditions.

Only the lead guest and the named booking party are permitted to access the property and its facilities. Any person(s) not accepted by us as paying guests will not be covered by our Public Liability Insurance.

LIABILITY

We do not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any member of your group or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves.

PAYMENTS FOR INCIDENTALS

For incidentals, we accept payments on departure by credit/debit card or cash.

PETS

Sorry, we do not accommodate animals other than assistance pets which are actively working to support a guest.

Pricing

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. This does not affect bookings already made.

SMOKING

Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, cigars or vapes is only allowed in the designated outdoor areas.  Should any guest be found smoking within the premises we can charge a £50.00 cleaning fee.

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS & PAYMENT

Full 100% payment is required at the time of booking and will be charged to the credit card you provide upon making a booking. £50.00 of this payment is an administrative non-refundable deposit.

WiFi

Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authority. Guests are responsible for signing out of any apps they have logged into on the Smart TV, this can usually be done remotely if needed.

THIRD PARTY/AGENCY BOOKINGS

Please note we do not accept third party or agency bookings.
